Now, No More Over Paying For Bottled Water In Restaurants, Airports

Tightening the noose around the overpricing of the bottled water, the cabinet minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, today announced that there will be a limit on the prices of bottled water selling across the nation in airports, malls, cinema houses and malls.

The Union Minister of Food and Public Distribution, Ram Vilas Paswan, on his twitter handle, shares the news. In a series of tweets, he writes, “Ministry is receiving complaints in a huge volume regarding the over pricing of bottled water. With complaints coming in, we got to know that companies are labelling different prices for malls, hotels and airports. Ministry has taken the cognizance of the matter, and had initiated the probe the regarding the matter.”

He further writes, “Bottled water selling across the nation in malls, airports and cinema houses”. That’s what he tweeted

It will relieve the general public to a greater extent if this order came into force. However, the government of India previously had also announced the same order, but not much result was felt. Let’s hope that this time it really goes into effect.
