A war memorial is being set up in Meerut, but it is not going to be like other war memorials! there is something really new about this war memorial that has grabbed the internet’s attention. The war memorial will be dedicated to contributions and heroics of animals that were martyred during counter-insurgency operations in Kashmir in 2016 and the battlefield during Kargil War fought in 1999 with Pakistan.
It is going to be India’s first animal war memorial that will be dedicated to war animals that contributed to military services and Meerut city in Uttar Pradesh will be host to this memorial.

In 1950, RVC pioneered war dog training for the first time ever in India.
