“Sardar Maine Aapka Namak khaya hai” is a very famous dialogue from movie ‘Sholay’ continues to be a famous reference till date. Veteran actor Viju Khote who is best known for his role in film Sholay and ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ died in Mumbai on Monday Morning at the age of 77.

He was not well due to multiple organ failure, because he did not wish to die in the hospital so he was brought back home a few days ago. Viju Khote was known for his work in more than 440 films in Hindi and Marathi Cinema. On Television, he was most remembered for his role in ‘Zabaan Sambhalke’. From Kaliya of ‘Sholey’ to Robert of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, he played many roles in Hindi cinema which may have been small but never forgotten even after all these years. He lived in Gaodevi area of Mumbai. He was 77 when he died. He was not well for a very long time.

Viju made huge fans with his unique comedy and this news of his sudden death has come as a shock to many of his fans and celebs is the film industry and expressed their sadness over twitter.
