Kerala swami claims he himself, not the girl victim who chopped off his genitals as it was not useful.

Thiruvananthapuram: Hats off to you Brave girl.  This is not a sign of weakness but an enormous show of bravery.

A law student in Kerala was forced to take the law into her own hands to end the cycle of 8 years of sexual and physical abuse by none other than one self-proclaimed godman in her town.

 Pinarayi Vijayan, CM of Kerala praised the woman’s “brave step”. “It’s a good thing the girl did,” he said at a press conference.

 The alleged rapist was identified as 54-year-old Sreehari, who is known by the name of Ganga Shashwatapada Swamy.  According to the police complaint, the girl has been a victim of sexual abuse for past 8 years, since she was a minor.

When the girl knew that the attacker would again make a move on her, she got a knife and cuts of his genitals to resist his acts. However, the story hasn’t stopped here later the attacker was taken to the hospital by the girl’s family. Kerala Police has registered a case against the Swamy under Protection of Sexual Offences Act (POSCO). The woman’s mother has been taken into custody as well; police believed that she’s also involved in this lousy act of Sreehari.

Swami later recorded his statement that the case against him was wrong and he chopped off his own penis because it was of no use to him.

Women Association of Kerala member Pramila Devi said that “We are proud of the student; she proved that no one has rights to abuse you or harm you in the name of religion, we need a braver woman like her.”
