Kejriwal announces to double the rate of Corona tests per day in Delhi

Delhi: Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal announced on Wednesday morning that the testing rates of Coronavirus will be doubled around 40,000 since there has been a marginal increase in the number of confirmed cases in the national capital.
Kejriwal also insisted that the main agenda of the government is to control the pandemic by testing and isolating people. The Chief Minister said in his video: “I urge people to keep getting tested. People think that they don’t have major symptoms so no need to test… Please do not do that. Please get tested. If you have COVID, get isolated at home till you’re cured. So please keep getting tested. “ Kejriwal also pointed out that the recovery rate of Delhi has been declined from 90 percent to 76 percent and no Covid death of home- isolated patients have been reported since July 14th . https://twitter.com/AAPDelhi/status/1298527344458469376?s=19
“In the last 24 hours, 1,693 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Delhi. We have a total of 14,130 COVID beds and of these, 10,448 are vacant.” He added. As of now, Delhi has faced the biggest single day spike of coronavirus cases in August i.e. 1,544 cases making a total of over 1.64 lakh, while the number of deaths have been increased to 4,330
