Harley-Davidson the American Biker now flies to India to soon launch a used motorcycle program. The company is already testing out the concept at some of its dealerships.
Harley-Davidson India managing director Peter MacKenzie has stated that the company has already begun testing the used motorcycle sales concept on a pilot basis at some of its dealerships in the country to widen up their market. So they are setting up a pre-owned motorcycle business in India.
Explaining the idea behind this, MacKenzie said that the used bike business will enable the company to attract more customers. “Secondly, to enable people, perhaps who cannot afford a new Harley-Davidson, but at least get the right Harley-Davidson experience through an authorised dealership,” he said.

The company plans to open three more, taking the total to 30 dealerships in India by the end of 2018.
