Famous Tv Journo Deepak Chaurasia’s wife registered a FIR, alleges Harrasment!

What if you are a famous television journalist & someone just intentionally or unintentionally leaks your personal contact no. on social media platforms like twitter. Isn’t it terrifying? Yes it is.

Television journalist Deepak Chaurasia’s wife Anusuiya Roy registered a complaint with police against unknown persons Wednesday after her husband started receiving multiple threatening and abusive phone calls on his personal phone numbers.

It all started on Tuesday night, when Deepak Chaurasia put out the numbers of all Delhi ministers on a TV show in which he was discussing the issue of rising dengue and chikungunya cases in the capital. Though it was an extreme step, but all those Delhi minister numbers were already on Delhi Government website.

Anyways, Newton’s third law is, “Every action is equal and opposite reaction”.

Here in this case the reaction of Delhi water resource minister Kapil Mishra to the action of Chaurasia’s action was extremely storming. Kapil mishra shared Deepak Chaurasia’s both personal contact no. on the wall of his twitter account. This step of the Delhi water resource minister put the senior television journalist into the deep trouble.

Kapil Mishra tweeted, “You just flashed my personal number on your television channel. I thought the love should not be one-sided. So I am sharing both your numbers. Enjoy”.

And this tweet started a series of death threat calls from unknown persons in Chaurasia’s phone.

Later, Deepak chaurasia’s wife Anusuiya Roy told in a report that at 11pm when her husband returned from the office he was continuously getting some threatening calls until she herself took the determination of going to police station & file a case against the person who so ever is the culprit of abusing her husband on cell phone. Roy filed an FIR at south Delhi’s, Safdarganj enclave police station at 2’O clock in the morning. Police has filed an FIR under sections 506, 507(criminal intimidation by anonymous communication), 509(word, gesture or act intended to insult woman’s modesty), 354D(stalking) and 34(common intention) of IPC.

Kapil Mishra told to media: “If people should know the phone numbers of their leaders, they should also know the phone numbers of their journalists. My family is also scared. If they are receiving threatening calls, they should immediately report this to police.”

Mishra later deleted his tweet on Wednesday morning.
