Diesel Prices reduced by 14 paise. Petrol Prices remained unchanged.

State government’s Oil Marketing Companies have revised the fuel prices on Sunday in which diesel rates have been reduced by upto 14 paise in all metro cities. However, the prices of petrol are still unchanged from last three days.

The rate of diesel was reduced by upto 17 paise on Saturday i.e. the price was Rs. 70.94 per litre and on Sunday, it revised to Rs. 70.80 per litre after the reduction by 14 paise. Petrol is still being retailed at Rs. 81.60 per litre from three consecutive days.

Here are the prices of petrol and diesel in five metro cities:

The local rates of Diesel has been reduced on 16 occasions this month. Thus, the prices have been reduced by Rs. 2.5 across all the netro cities whereas, petrol prices have seen reduction only 7 times this month with a price decline of Rs. 1.02.

Value Added Tax (VAT) are also imposed on these auto fuels. India’s leading fuel companies Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Indian Oil Corporation review these prices daily.
