Dhoni to start his political inning with BJP

Mahi, the most successful captain of an Indian cricket team is now about to take retirement from the cricket world, under whose captaincy India won the 2011 and 2013 ICC World Cup. MS Dhoni’s journey has been an interesting one since his childhood he was a football player turning into cricket because of which he got his first job as Ticket Teller. Later, he got an entry in the Indian cricket team and became Major General in Indian army. Going further, Dhoni is now about to start his political career with Bhartiya Janta Party. All this came after the defeat from New Zealand on 10 July 2019 in ICC world cup, India chased 240 runs and the fear came true by losing by 18 runs.

A former union minister and BJP leader Sanjay Pasan claimed that Dhoni may soon join BJP and be the part of Team Narendra Modi. Sanjay Pasan said this has been discussed for so long and Dhoni was one of the Celebrities whom BJP chief visited in his ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ Programme ahead of Lok Sabha elections. Elections are going to take place in Dhoni’s home state government this year and there is a possibility of Dhoni being the Chief Minister face of the coming Jharkhand poll. If this happens Dhoni will be in the same team as Gautam Gambhir who recently joined BJP and became MP.

Virat Kohli is unsure about the future plans of Dhoni, when he was addressing the media after the semifinal he said that “he has not told us anything”. He said he has not communicated anything to the team.
