Delhi man got arrested by Mumbai Police for spreading fake news about Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Case.

Mumbai: Vibhor Anand, a resident of Delhi got arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly spreading fake news on the late actor Sushant Singh Raput’s death case on his twitter account. His account even got suspended by Twitter for violating the community guidelines.

Anand has allegedly made several sensational defamations against famous personalities regarding the death of Rajput and his ex- manager Disha Salian.

Anand has been arrested under sections of law including Information and Technology Act for making several false allegations against even people who were not associated with the death case.

Vibhor Anand has been shocking allegations on the social media regarding Disha Salian’s death case which was happened on June 8 2020 i.e. before the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who died on 14th June 2020 by suicide.

“A fake narrative started in the media that Mumbai Police did a bad job- we faced a lot of abuse. We were always sure of our investigation.” Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh told NDTV.

Last month, Mumbai Police has also arrested model and fitness vlogger Pradeep Mohinder Singh Choudhary who is also known as Saahil Choudhary based on a woman’s complaint for making videos on Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case for his YouTube channel under Indian Penal Code.

The police said that the Choudhary has confessed that he is not a journalist, he was making these videos only to get subscribers and followers for his YouTube and Instagram account.
