Deepika To Wear A Sabyasachi, Cries At Sangeet
The much awaited wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will finally take place in Villa Del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy today.
It is said that Deepika Padukone cried at the Sangeet ceremony during a Thumri performance by Shubha Mugdal. Seeing his bride to be in an emotional state, Ranveer Singh got up from his seat and hugged Deepika.They are said to have exchanged rings yesterday. Both the bride and the groom are reportedly wearing Sabyasachi for the wedding.
There will be two rituals for their wedding.Keeping the heritage of the bride in mind, the November 14 ceremony will have Kannadiga rituals while a ceremony will take on November 15 in accordance with Sindhi-Punjabi rituals of Ranveer Singh.
There will be a reception both in Bangalore and Mumbai scheduled for November 21 and November 28 respectively.The wedding will be held in the midst of both their family members and close friends. A couple of celebrities of the likes of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were invited to their Lake Como wedding.
The couple felt in love while shooting for the film ‘Ram-Leela’ six years ago and it blossomed during their subsequent films together such as ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmavat’. Both the stars are first generation actors of their respective family.
