A 35-year-old Muslim beaten up to death by the crowd in Uttar Pradesh

A 35-year-old Muslim man named Israr has been beaten up to the death in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district on last Thursday. The video of the brutal incident has gone viral.

The police sustained that this case is not of “lynching” and the Superintendent of Saharanpur Ashok Kumar Meena said the print Israr was mentally unstable that’s why he stole a bike and attacked a minor. They said the cause of his death was clash or ‘jhadap’.

In the video which went viral, Israr was lying on the ground while he was beaten up. Once he got up but was beaten again and fell down motionless. He breathed his last breath in Saharanpur district hospital.

This incident took place on Thursday evening when he was traveling from his village Imliya to a nearby village Kutesa on a motorcycle. The attackers attacked him in Dehra village.

An FIR has been filed by the victim’s family under section 302 (murder), section 147 (rioting), section 342 (wrongful confinement). The police are yet to make an arrest.

SP Meena said, “ the family has named 11 people of which nine has been identified. A team has been formed to investigate the matter.”
