India’s first silent LGBTQ film ‘Sisak’ trailer will give you Goosebumps!

The topic of homosexuality has always been treated as a taboo in India. People have been subjugated with so many judgments that it’s difficult to combat such prejudices and evolve. Due to this societal pressure, people haven’t been able to accept themselves for what they actually are.

However, in the recent times, there has been a positive change in the society and gradually, people are embracing their individualities and encouraging others to do the same.

This change has also been reflected in Bollywood, thanks to Fawad Khan stepping up to play a gay role in the movie ‘Kapoor and Sons’, John-Abhishek playing the gay duo in the film Dostana.

There have been many LGBTQ parades to show solidarity to the homosexuals.

The short film, ‘Sisak’ is the first LGBTQ short feature film in India. It’s written and directed by Faraz Arif Ansari.
