Shocking: Brand new Ethiopian airline crashed, 149 passenger and 8 crew members died

An Ethiopian airline en route from Addis Ababa to Nairoba crashed on Sunday killed all its 149 passengers and eight CREW members on board. African media reported the news as African leaders offered condolences.

“We nearby confirm that our Flight ET 302 from Addis Ababa to Nairoba was involved in an accident today”, the airline officials said in a statement. Later, Ethiopia’s FANA Broadcasting corp reported that there are no survivors.

State owned Ethiopian airline, Africa’s largest carrier had taken off at 8:38 am from Bole International Airport and lost contact after six minutes near Bishoftu. The town is located around 60 kilometres from Addis Ababa by road.

According to AFP reporter, massive crater of airline was found at the crash site with belongings and other parts of airline.

Official statement of how many nationalities were on board is not provided, but according to a report it says around 33 nationalities were present in the plane.
