1. PUBG to terminate its service in India from today.
PUBG Mobile has announced today that the video game will no longer provide its service to Indian users from Friday. It means that users who have already installed the app before its ban will not be able to play the game from today onwards. Its been two months since the game has been banned by the Government of India due to national security concerns.
Earlier, South Korea’s PUBG Corp. announced that they will no longer allow China’s Tecnent Games to publish the addictive mobile game in India.
2. Earthquakes hits Greece and Turkey, four died and 120 injured.
A powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Aegean Sea crushes both Greece and Turkey’s Izmir province, said the US Geological Survey.
About 20 buildings collapsed, 4 people died and 120 injured during this earthquake. Many areas got flooded in the city of Izmir during the water overflow after earthquake . Smoke rose into the sky in several areas.
The earthquake resulted in a small scale tsunami in Seferihisar district, Huseyin Alan, head of Turkey’s Chamber of Geological Engineers, told state news agency TRT.
3. New Zealand accepts euthanasia but rejects recreational marijuana.
New Zealand have voted to make the practice of euthanasia legal in a referendum and reject the legal charges that would allow recreational marijuana use, said the Election Commission of New Zealand on Friday. This will allow people to intentionally end life of the terminal patients with the purpose of relieving them from a pain and distress.
The quantitative data showed that 65.2% people have voted to legalise euthanasia. However the remaining population which is left to vote would not be able to affect the results.
4. US health official dress as clown to discuss COVID- 19 Deaths.
A video became viral which is showing a woman who is dressed like a clown while sharing the important statistics of the people died with COVID- 19. This act was was performed only to grab people’s attention.
The name of the lady is Claire Poche, who has wore a black shirt with whitw polka dots along with yellow pants and the usual clown makeup. “As of today, there have been 38,160 cases of COVID-19 in Oregon, with 390 new cases being reported today. Sadly, we are also reporting three deaths today, bringing the statewide total for COVID-19 related deaths to 608,” She said in the video. The video also shows a man who is translating the same with the help of sign language.
