  1. Veteran violinist T.N. Krishnan passes away at 92.

Legendary violinist who is well known for his Carnatic ragas died on Monday at the age of 92 due to cardiac arrest.

He entered fhe music industry when he was a child and performrd till his last days. He was born in 1928 in Kerala and learnt music from his father A. Narayana Iyer. He gave his first solo concert in Thiruvananthapuram at the age 11.

May his soul rest in peace.

2. Actor Vijay Raaz got arrested for allegedly harassing a crew member.

Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz got arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly molesting a female crew member during the making of the film ‘Sherni’ starring Vidya Balan in the lead role.

According to the report by Mumbai Mirror, the actor was taken to the Ramnagar Police Station and reportedly granted bail.

Raaz has featured in more than 50 Bollywood films and is known for his performances in ‘Delhi Belly’, ‘Run’, ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Company’ and ‘Bombay to Goa’.

Raaz is also going to be featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ starring Alia Bhatt in the lead character.

3. Eminem to perform ‘Lose Yourself’ for Joe Biden’s campaign.

American Hip Hop sensation Eminem has given the rights to use his Oscar winning song ‘Lose Yourself’ for Democratic nominee Joe Biden on his ad campaign.

The rapper forwarded support to Joe Biden in this election scenario in US and also shared the ad on Twitter and wrote “One opportunity” as the caption. The ad featured Joe Biden and United States senator Kamala Hartis with the song ‘Lose Yourself’ being played in the background.

4. 16 people killed in a terror attack at different locations of Vienna.

Vienna, Austria: Gunmen attacked at six locations in central Vienna on Monday. At least 14 people got injured in the attack and two people killed. Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz called this attack as a “repulsive terror attack”.

One of the suspected killers, identified as an Islamic State group sympathiser, was shot dead by police who said they were searching for at least one more assailant still at large.

The shooting rampage, in six locations including near a synagogue and the world famous opera house in the heart of Vienna on Monday evening, was carried out by “several suspects armed with rifles”, police said.
