I tried every aspect to better our relations with Pakistan but it derailed – PM Modi at SCO summit

Recently PM Modi had been to the SCO(Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) summit. It begins on Thursday in Bishek. The major and prominent issues that were being discussed at the summit, were development, security, counter-terrorism, connectivity, and climate change. As far as Pakistan is concerned, PM Modi had the opinion that he has made many efforts to better the relations from Pakistan, but there is not a single effort from the side of Pakistan. Pakistan needs to create an atmosphere, which is devoid of terrorism, but sadly, there is no strict action from the side of Pakistan.

The attack of Anantanag that took the lives of five CRPF jawans and injured three of them, indicates it organically, that there will be hardly any bilateral talks between India and Pakistan. It would be the first time, after winning the election, that PM Modi confronted Pakistan, after an adverse series of tense patterns between the countries.

The PM of Pakistan(Imran Khan) has even written a letter to PM Modi, then also there would be no talks between these two nations. Prime Minister Modi is using this opportunity to get connected to most of the leaders, participating at a bilateral level as well. Bilateral meetings with China, Russia, Afghanistan 1st day and then on Friday with Iran and the Kyrgyz Republic show the extent of India’s importance and persistence in this regional bloc.

To strengthen the strategic bilateral relations, PM Modi and Russian president Vladimir Putin, entangled themselves in ‘delegation level talks’ on the regulations laid down by the SCO. “A special partner, a privileged relationship! PM @narendramodi met with @KremlinRussia_E Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of #SCOSummit in #Bishkek. Reviewed all aspects of bilateral relations to further strengthen the strategic relationship,” External Affairs Ministry (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

Russia is one of the most important suppliers of arms and ammunition, in India. Apart from Russia, India will also indulge in a bilateral meeting with China. In addition to it, Prime Minister will also jointly inaugurate India Kyrgyz business forum before holding delegation-level talks and signing and exchange of agreements. As far as the origin is concerned, SCO has been founded in 2001 by China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan and thereby India became its member in 2007. Since the time, our PM Narendra Modi has won the election, he is constantly aiming to make the foreign relations better than ever before and that is true, this is the most amazing USP(unique selling proposition) of the strategies, adopted by our king “Narendra Modi Ji”.
