Chinese Multinational Company Huawei has launched its new laptop Huawei Matebook 14 2020 alongside several other products. The company announced about the latest Matebook on its ‘Seamless Ai Life product launch’ event.
The new Huawei Matebook 14 2020 is a slim and light laptop which is powered by AMD Rayzen 4000 series CPU. Huawei also revealed that the new Matebook 14 has 10 hours long battery life, but is available in a single colour option. The laptop will be on sale from next month and also be available with 10th Generation series from Intel.
The Huawei Matebook 14 2020 comes with Windows 10 Home pre- installed. It has 14 inch 2K (2,160 x 1,440 pixels) IPS touch display with the ratio of 3:2 and 90 percent screen to body ratio. It supports brightness with 300 nits and 1,500:1 contrast ratio.
For storage, it gives up to 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD.
The Huawei Matebook 14 2020 comes with 2 variants: AMD Rayzen 5 4600H CPU and AMD Rayzen 7 4800H CPU with AMD Radeon Graphics. It comes with up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2,666 MHz.
The battery life of the laptop is 56WH which can last for over 10 hours. There are 2W speakers and four microphones in the notebook. 720p webcams for video calls are also available with this device. Connectivity options include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB Type- C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and an HDMI port. The Matebook 14 2020 has full- size keyboard and fingerprint power button and weights 14.9 kg.
The Huawei Matebook is available in three variants:
1. The basic variant is AMD Rayzen 5 + 8 GB + 256 GB Storage and is priced at 849 Euros (Rs 74,000 roughly).
2. AMD Rayzen 5 + 16GB + 512GB Storage and is priced at 949 Euros (83,000 roughly).
3. Top- tier AMD Rayzen 7 + 16GB + 512GB Storage configuration and is priced at 1,049 Euros (roughly Rs. 94,100).
The Huawei Matebook 14 2020 will likely to go for sale from October 2020.
