Google is launching its new smart home device in India and 11 other countries named “Google nest hub” in the upcoming week with a price range of Rs. 8,999. It was launched in October last year in the international with the name Google home hub.
It is a 7 inch displayed smart home device with google assistant and voice control features. It is in competition with the Amazon echo show 5 which has a 5 inch display and offers voice control for smart home devices but unlike the echo show it does not support video calling due to privacy concerns, which is a drawback for google users.
Google nest works as a virtual photo frame by connecting through google photos an app by google to store your photos. Is has a media playback option and u can also stream video content from youtube, Netflix etc.
You can manage all your google smart home devices with google nest hub, it has an ambient display which adjust automatically with the surroundings. Customers who want a bigger display could go for Google next max which will also soon gets launched in India after google nest hub.
Google at its I/O developer conference back in May revealed that it is set to launch expand the market of the Nest Hub by launching it in 12 new markets including India. However, the Nest Hub Max is initially available in the US, UK, and Australia.
