A man undertakes the mission to pedal 8,500 km to create awareness about human trafficking

A 35-year-old man Naresh Kumar from Chennai is undertaking a mission called “Freedom Seat” where he is going to travel from Chennai to Hamburg in Germany by bicycle, covering a distance of 8,500 km. This mission is carried to spread awareness among the people about human trafficking.

Talking to ANI, Naresh said, “the reason behind this cause is to end human slavery. I will be crossing 12 different borders through the Middle East and Europe. I have done similar missions with same cause in New Zealand and Australia”.

According to news agency ANI, he is travelling with less clothes and accessories. He has a GPS gadget to keep his family well informed of his location during the journey, a sleeping bag, tent, a tool kit and few spare tubes for his cycle. He was an electronic engineer in the US.

Kumar has decided to cover 120 km everyday. His efforts are throwing light on the fact that human trafficking cases are increasing each year and people should pay attention to how to stop this.
