Ranveer Singh is a public person, he is a bit of a free spirit when it comes to his choice of clothes and overall demeanor.  Ranveer Singh is riding high on the success of his recently released film Simmba, which is all set to cross Rs 200 crore at the box-office. The Year 2018 definitely belonged to the actor in terms of his professional and personal front. Ranveer kick-started last year with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat, which is one of the most successful Bollywood films of the past decade. The film also starring his beautiful wife Deepika Padukone went on to earn Rs 300 crore plus at the box-office. Ending the year on a blockbuster note, the energetic actor is roaring high and loud with Simmba.

In a recent interview, Ranveer Singh opened up about his Bollywood journey, Deepika Padukone, love for work and much more.  , while talking about his performance in ‘Bajirao Mastani’, Ranveer felt a lump in throat and had to pause the interview for a while. He got emotional and almost got tears in his eyes when he started talking about how casting director Shanoo Sharma was stunned by his performance in ‘Bajirao Mastani.’ . he told that he had gone to almost any extent to prepare for his roles, he said, “There are some characters (for which you have to cut yourself off the world). These are hazards of the profession. You face physical as well as emotional scars. If you are an actor who goes inside the skin of a character, it is bound to happen. But that’s okay. I am ready to sacrifice anything for my craft. But there are times when a character takes a toll on you – playing Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat was very tough.”
