Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen on the big screen in their upcoming film Chhichhore. The film, directed by Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari, released its first poster today with the two lead actors in a double role. If we go by the poster, the movie entails a story of two generations and the tagline – ‘Kutte ki dum, tedhi ki tedhi’ suggests that the movie should be a hilarious ride.
The poster also gives a sneak peak into other characters in the film, who also happen to be playing a double role. Among the supporting actors, comedian Varun Sharma of Fukrey fame seems to be the most recognisable. Add to that, news had dropped earlier that Mulk actor Prateik Babbar will be playing the main antagonist in the film.

According to reports, the film is set at the backdrop of an engineering college. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and presented by Fox Studios, Chhichhore is expected to hit theatres in August 2019. Besides Dangal, Nitesh Tiwari has also directed films like Chillar Party and Bhoothnath Returns. He has also written dialogue, screenplay and story for films Kill Dil, Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor recently had two back-to-back films release on the big screen. While Stree, which released on August 31, turned out to be an unexpected blockbuster, making over Rs 125 crore at the domestic box-office, her second film Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which also starred Shahid Kapoor and Yami Gautam, didn’t fare well with critics or at the box-office.
