Days back, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry postponed the date of a meeting of the preview committee to select films for IFFI. There were further rumours that Irani might even dissolve the group.
At the 47th edition of the event, over 300 movies from 90 countries had been screened in nine days, of which Iranian film ‘Daughter’ came away as the festival’s best film.
