Shah Rukh and Salman to compete for TRPs on small screen?

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are the new BFFs in Bollywood. Since joining hands after their rift, both have been exchanging gifts and doing cameos in each other’s films. Their friendship seems to be blooming well and we hope it continues as SRKs ‘TED Talks: Nayi Soch’ is all set to clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 11’.

While Salman will be seen on weekends grilling the contestants over their last week’s performance, Shah Rukh will host influential people from all walks of life on a rival channel at the same time. ‘Bigg Boss’. Colors CEO Raj Nayak, recently took to Twitter to share the news. Nayak wrote, “Here we all go @BiggBoss fans. Auditions open for #BiggBoss Season 11 with @beingsalmankhan.”

Talking about the clash, a source from Star Plus told indianexpress.com, “We are still trying to figure out the timings and we are yet to officially confirm it. The clash would be inevitable if both air at 9 pm. But since both have different concepts, the shows will find its own audience.” With ‘Bigg Boss’ already being a popular reality show with a loyal audience, it would be interesting to see whether fans will ditch Salman Khan for Shah Rukh Khan.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh who is currently busy in promoting his upcoming movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, will shoot for the promo of TED Talks later in August and the promo will be telecasted in October. On the other hand, Salman will also shoot for the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 11’ which will start in September and will go on till January 2018. Also, if reports are to be believed, both the stars are set to clash on weekends as the slot of the show might be the same. And, Shah Rukh’s show will have 14 episodes. It will feature three different speakers in an 18-minute or less monologue. However, the speakers and the exact date of the launch have been kept under wraps.
