Sanju New Song Narrates Sanjay Dutt’s Fight With Drugs, Watch Video!!

A new song from Sanju, the Sanjay Dutt biopic directed by RajKumar Hirani, is out. Called Kar Har Maidan Fateh, it shows Sanjay’s struggle with drugs.

By now, we all have a sense that Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju could be Ranbir Kapoor’s best-ever performance to date.

On Sunday, a new song Kar Har Maidaan Fateh from the upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic has been released and it documents young Sanjay’s struggle with drugs to his victory over it.

Sharing the picture, Raju Hirani wrote: “Watch Har Maidan Fateh now. Hope you like it. #RanbirKapoor @shreyaghoshal @FoxStarHindi @VVCFilms @tseries #Vikrammontrose #SukhwinderSingh #RajkumarHiraniFilms.”

In the process, it also throws light on the Bollywood star’s many troubles — his struggle to come to terms with the loss of his mother, Nargis to cancer, his days as a drug addict in the US and his subsequent stay at the de-addiction centre there, his uneven relationship with his father, late Sunil Dutt, to his final run-in with the law.

The soul-stirring voice of Sukhwinder Singh elevates Sanjay’s conflicts to a completely different level, adding a whole new dimension to the song.

The biopic is due to release on June 29 and the makers have begun the promotion of the film with enthusiasm. The trailer of the film, which released in May, made the world sit and take notice of Ranbir’s striking resemblance with Sanjay. Since then, the makers have been revealing posters and songs from the film. Looks of Dia Mirza (who plays Manayaata Dutt in the film), Manisha Koirala who will appear as Nargis and Anushka Sharma (who plays a journalist) have already been released. One of the songs, Main Badhiya, introduced Sonam Kapoor. It is still not clear what she plays though.

Sanju stars Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala in important roles.
