Ranveer Singh faces huge outrages for his latest billboard advertisement, some even calling him sexist.

Denmark based company Bestseller owns Jack and Jones—a high-street clothing brand that primary produces menswear. And for its recent billboard, the brand shows campaign star Ranveer Singh—dressed in a ‘sharp’ shirt, suspenders and a bowtie, paired with skinny jeans—LIFTING a young woman in a mini skirt and a blouse, ‘back home’, on his powerful shoulders. All this while the office butler—who clearly looks like he’s wearing the same bowtie and enjoying the scene— in giggles!
Made by advertising agency Marching Ants, the billboard put up in 12 cities across the country, promotes brand’s formal range of shirts. But this sexist advertisement didn’t go too well with twitteratti’s, and they went on twitter to write down their displeasure about the ad.

Some even call to lodge an FIR against the brand company.

On receiving flak for the advertisement, Jack & Jones tweeted saying they would take the billboard down. Next time, maybe put a team in place to red flag casual sexism in advertisements?

Meanwhile, Ranveer is busy in promotions for ‘Befikre which is scheduled to release on 12th December.
