Padmavati: Here’s why Shahid Kapoor is the dark horse in this war saga

Shahid Kapoor has been known as the chocolaty hero of Bollywood for the initial years of his career. The cute face and romantic style of the actors made him a heartthrob amongst the ladies but at the same time he was critisized for his monotonous style. Shahid worked quite hard to over come this and finally the actor succeeded. Almost more than a decade after living the cutie pie image, Shahid finally broke the shell and emerged as a strong actor with Kaminey. While the movie wasn’t able to do well at the box office, Shahid definitely grabbed a lot of critic’s attention and was hailed for his acting skills. Since then there was not stopping him. While he did movies like Jab We Met and Vivaah where even the actresses were equally responsible for the success, the actor surprised us all with Haider.
Shahid turned out to be at utmost brilliance with his acting skills in Haider and the flick is still the biggest milestone of his career. As a result the man grabbed quite a variety of roles further.

Shahid’s upcoming flick Padmavati is already setting fire all across with the enchanting trailer. All of the three actors have impressed audience in a manner that cannot be defined in words. Shahid is stealing the show as Rajputana king Raja Rawal Ratan Singh – King of Chittor and Padmavati’s husband.

The way Sanjay Leela Bhansali has presented his king is breaking the limits of royal and grace. Shahid looks hauntingly royal as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. Shahid’s dialogue, “Chinta ko talwar ki nok pe rakhe, woh Rajput. Ret ki nav leke samundar se shart lagaye, woh Rajput. Aur jiska sar katey, phir bhi, dhar dushman se ladta rahe, woh Rajput”, showcases the Rajputana pride and valour.
