All guns blazing targeting Chetan Bhagat over his remark on firecracker ban

As India was setting their festive mood on, the Supreme Court gave a blow, especially to Delhiites, just before the Diwali week. In a landmark Judgment, the court banned the sale of firecrackers in Delhi and its neighbouring areas till November 1. The Supreme Court said that it first wants to review how the ban impacts the Air Quality Index (AQI) post-Diwali.

This blanket ban by the Supreme Court had garnered much appreciation on the internet and many of netizens praised the step, for some the judgment doesn’t go down well with them, which also includes prominent Indian writer Chetan Bhagat.

Baffled with the Supreme Court Judgment, the author has gone all out to criticise the court’s judgment and even found a communal angle to the issue questioning why only Hindu Festivals were being targeted.

Here what he tweeted:

Soon the writer voiced his opinion, the trolling begins.
