Finally, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has a release date, check out!

There have been a lot of speculations made about the release date of Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos. The film has been postponed a couple of times before so fans weren’t too sure if the film will actually release on July 14. However, a new poster of the film is out and the makers have confirmed the release date. So all you fans out there, who cannot wait to see Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos, the film is very much releasing on July 14. The much-delayed project, directed by Anurag Basu, was earlier supposed to hit theatres on April 7.

The teaser trailer of the movie produced by Disney and Pictureshuru Production was released last year in December. Written by Basu, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Adah Sharma and Sayani Gupta in key roles. This is the first collaboration between Basu and Katrina. The filmmaker has previously worked with Ranbir in Barfi. Music director Pritam has composed the music for the film. Jagga Jasoos has been in the making for quite some time now. Extensive re-shooting of the movie took place after filmmaker Anurag was not satisfied with the initial product.

The story of Jagga Jasoos is about an amateur detective, Jagga, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who is on a mission to hunt down his father’s killer. Accompanying him across Kolkata and Morocco on this adventure is Katrina Kaif, as she loves Jagga.
