You Can Now Book Maruti Suzuki’s Baleno Only At Rs 11,000
The good just got better, as according to media reports, Maruti Suzuki is launching a new version of Baleno on 3rd march 2017. Good news just doesn’t end here, Maruti Suzuki is willing to introduce 1.0 litre, three cylinder Boosters, jet turbo-petrol engine, which was unveiled in last year’s AUTO EXPO 2016. It is expected that the new version will hit the MARUTI NEXA SHOWROOMS primarily.
It has been said that this new tech engine produces more power even at the lowest speed, serves with a better torque & hence enhancing the performance of the car. The engine will supposedly generate a power of 102bhp and a torque of 150Nm.Well, there is also a better version of this engine available in the international market which generates 111bhp of power. This latest version of Baleno did not promise any automatic transmission as for now as it is following the traditional 5gear manual transmission system.
The India-spec Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS gets different front and rear bumpers, unique mesh grille and black painted alloy wheels made of 16-inch gun metal. The overall look of the car is similar to the one showcased last year in Delhi. While there is a slight increment in the weight of the car, from 935kgs to 950kgs, it looks as promising as it always was.
While the new Baleno RS will reflect the standard Baleno, it carries a few upgrades:-
BI-xenon automatic headlamps
Dual airbags
ABS (Automatic Balance System)
Disc brakes for all 4 wheels
Smart Play infotainment system with navigation
Reverse camera and parking sensors
Electric adjust and folding wing mirror with indicators
Maruti Suzuki is said to be a tough competition for all the settled versions of cars in the same segment such as Volkswagen Polo GT, Ford Figo, Fiat Punto etc. The dealers have started taking the bookings for the new launch. This car will be sold exclusively through NEXA premium dealership. It is expected to cost around 8 to 10 lakh INR (ex-showroom Delhi)
The engine of this car is a jaw-dropping machine for all the expected buyers, as it promises a new and developed mechanism. How the new version of Baleno fairs in the market, if it will improve upon its predecessor or not, we will only gonna find out after its launch.
