Google Pixel and Pixel XL 2: Here is how it compares to iPhone X

The day all Android and Google lovers were eagerly waiting for is finally here. And Google did not disappoint us; they announced and released a huge and highly advanced line of electronics and technology.

Pixel and Pixel XL 2 were the show stealers as the highly anticipated smartphones not only delivered all that was promised and anticipated, but offer even more to all that. The design, specifications and price has surely made Pixel 2 the clear winner in this year’s battle of the giants.

Another big announcement was the Google Pixel book. It’s Google’s first self-made Chrome OS device and also the first Chrome book to offer full Google Play Store support for all mobile apps.

Google’s two new Pixel phones are here and they’ll square off against the iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and LG V30. And as far as the battle goes, Google have won hands down.

One of the biggest areas where they have won is at their camera, despite not having a dual camera like all other competitors. Google offers best-in-class low light photography of last year’s Pixel and beat out the fine-detail quality and portrait modes of phones that have two camera lenses, by doing the same with one.

Another big win for them are the dual speakers, which offer a blast of clear sound. They boast of a sleek design, coming in three colours with a different jazzy color for the power button and a half metal, half glass body at the back, which finally compliments the phone in all its beauty.

Both phones have the Always-On display, which shows a clock and any important notifications even when the phone is in standby and also come with OLED-based technology. The battery is a tank which is going to delight many users as it goes a day without needing to charge credit to its 3520 mAH battery. The pixel 2 comes at a price of 59,999 rupees and clearly stumps the IPhone X which will burn a hole into your pocket at 86,000.

Both phones can be pre-ordered starting Wednesday, Oct. 4 in the US and UK. Preorders in Australia begin Oct. 20. The Pixel 2 comes in three colours: Kinda Blue, Just Black and Clearly White and the Pixel 2 XL has two color variants: Just Black, and Black and White. Be sure to get your hands on one as soon as possible to experience the best smartphone experience in a long time.
