Industrialist Anil Ambani has stepped up his reinstatement of his business to his sons. Now billionaire Anil Ambani is planning to include his younger son, Jai Anshul Ambani as executive director on the Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) board. Earlier, Anil Ambani’s eldest son, Jai Anmol Ambani has been inducted in the Reliance Capital Board in 2016.

According to the Business Standard report, Reliance Group founder Dhirubhai Ambani will be on board on his birthday in the last week of December. Earlier, Anil Ambani’s elder brother Mukesh Ambani has joined his children Akash and Isha Ambani in Jio Board. However, Mukesh Ambani’s younger son, Anant Ambani, has not joined any company yet.

Corporate insiders say that after the bitter experience between the two billionaires, they want to clarify the succession planning as soon as possible. Anshul is being included in the R-Infobar at a time when the company is taking several steps to reduce its debt.

In 2016, A-Raynfra sold its cement division to Birla Corp for 48 billion rupees and this year the company sold its Mumbai power distribution business, Adani Transmission for 188 billion rupees. The company is also looking to sell some road projects to be debt free till 2019. He wants to prepare the next generation with zero debt to run the company according to his plans.
